According to this year’s trucking shortages, a good driver may be hard to find. But according to drivers, a good truck stop can be just as challenging to locate. Earlier this year, CareersinGear.com brought you the 5 great truck stops around the U.S. Our readers provided some great feedback (thank you, by the way). IOWA 80, which is considered the largest truck stop in the world, secured the top spot on the list.

While clean, safe and fully-loaded rest stops are ideal, taking in a beautiful view only enhances the driving experience. Not to mention, you may decide to take a trip over the holidays with loved ones. This infographic, courtesy of AtlasVanLines.com, will introduce you to a few scenic spots worth checking out during your next road trip.

Some of my favorite roads are:

Malibu Canyon going West to the ocean. I bob-tailed it once- don’t even try it with anything bigger than 3-axles!

The high-country in Colorado! Man, those winding roads, breath-taking views, year-round snow-caps.

Arches National Park in SE Utah! Everything is orange, it’s like being on the moon.
